These binoculars are solidly built and the neck cord gives me peace of mind my kid won’t drop them on a hike. The focus wheel is smooth enough for small fingers to turn, and she spotted a blue jay across the yard instantly.

My son had no trouble adjusting the focus wheel himself, which made our backyard birdwatching session much more fun. The neck cord is a nice touch so he doesn't drop them.

My daughter can actually spot birds in the backyard now instead of just pointing at the sky, and the focus wheel is easy enough for her small hands to turn. The compact size fits perfectly in her little backpack for our hikes.
