ヒキガエルの家

I placed mine under a fern near the veggie beds, and the next morning a little toad had already moved in. The opening is just the right size for them to feel safe from birds. My slug problem is notably smaller now.

Set this up near the hostas yesterday and already spotted a little toad checking out the entrance. The unglazed clay feels rough and natural, which should help it blend right into the garden. Happy to give these guys a proper hideout for keeping the slug population down.

I love how the entrance is just the right size to keep out larger critters while letting my toad feel safe. I’ve already noticed fewer slugs around my pepper plants since I placed it under the fern.
