I was a bit worried the book would just be sad, but the photos really capture their gentle dignity. The wobbly-legs section made me laugh and tear up at the same time.

The photos of grey muzzles and wobbly legs really capture the charm of senior dogs, and the variety from public submissions keeps every page interesting. I've spent an hour just flipping through it and smiling at all the character in their faces.

The painted portraits of grey muzzles and milky eyes hit me harder than I expected, especially the ones of dogs with wobbly legs still trying to follow their owners around. It's a quiet little book, the kind you leave on the coffee table and end up flipping through every time you walk past.
